RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
LYNWOOD APPROVSNG THE SALE OF CERPAIN REAL
PROPERTY TO THE LYNWOOD REDEVELOPMENT AGENCY AND
AUTHORIZING EXECUTION OF AN AGREED9ENP
WHEREAS, the Lynwood Redevelognent Agency (the "Agency") and Hopkins
Lynwood Associates (the "Developer") have entered into or will enter into a
Disposition and Development Agreement (the "DDA") pursuant to ~3nich the Agency will
sell certain real property (the "Property") described in Exhibit A to the
Developer; and
WHEREAS, the Agency is agreeable to paying to the City the cost of
the City to acquire the Property, including costs of negotiation, recording
and related transactional costs; and
WHEREAS, the acquisition of the Property by the Agency will facilitate
the assembly of developable site within Project Area "A"; and
WHEREAS, the assembly of said site is required in order to effect
the provision of the DDA; and
WHEREAS, the assembly of said site is required in order to effect
the provisions of the DDA; and
WHEREAS, the City desires to convey the property-to tine
Lynwood Redevelopment Agency to facilitate the assembly of developable sites for
redevelopment activities;
~' NOW, THEREE'ORE, the City Council of the City of Lynwood does resolve
as follows:
The City Council approves and authorizes the Mayor to execute
the "Agreement. for Sale..of Property" in the form attached hereto as Exhibit A.
Staff is authorized and directed to take all appropriate action to effectuate
the terms of the foregoing Agreement.
