A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF LYNWOOD APPROVING A SUBSTANTIAL CHANGE FOR
PROJECT 85-H-388 - CHILD ABUSE PREVEivTION
DECREASING FUNDING FROM $35,328 TO $6,000 IN
COMPLIANCE WITH HUD GUIDELINES
WHEREAS, on April 2, 1985, the City Council approved CDBG
fundino totalling $35,328 for proiect #85-H-388, Child Abuse Pre-
vention Project fnr fiscal year 1985-86-
WHEREAS. due t~ nrniect dela~~s and extensions. the Child
Abuse Prevention Por,ject has requested funding for only $6,000
effective February 4. 1986 - June 30. 1986-
WHEREAS. Council aonroved said request on February 4,1986;
WHEREAS, the actual amount funded represents more than a
25i decrease in the funding amount allocated for fiscal year
1985-86 and thereby constitutes a Substantial Change according
to HUD guidelines;
WHEREAS, Lynwood citizens have been informed of said
Substantial Change;
WHEREAS, the City is acting in compliance with federal
guidelines governing substantial changes.
NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of Lynwood
does hereby find, determine, order and resolve as follows:
SECTION 1. Approve the substantial chance of $29,328 for
project 85-H-388 Child Abuse Prevention representing a decrease
from $35,328 to $6,000.
PASSED, APPROVED and ADOPTED this 4th day of ~4arch
