A kESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
LYNWOOD AUTHORIZING ADDITIONAL WORK UNDER THE
THEE MAINTENANCE PROJECT.
WHEREAS, a bid opening for the City of Lynwood annual
tree maintenance project was held on November 20, 1985, and
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Lynwood, on
December 3, 1985, awarded a tree maintenance contract to the
lowest responsible bidder, United Pacific Corporation for
$75,110.00, and
WIIHHF.AS, due to competitive contract prices fifty
thousand ($50,000) dollars remain from the budgeted amount for
tree maintenance, and
WFIERF.AS, the additional tree maintenance work is necessary
for the proper care and maintenance of City trees, and.
WHEREAS, this additional contract work can be done more
economically and efficiently by increasing the contract amount
with.iJnite'd Pacific Corporation, and
WHEREAS, City Council can authorize this additional
contract work under Section Z-G' (c), and
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the
City of Lynwood as follows:
_Se_ct:i_on_ 1: That additional. tree maintenance work in the
amount of fifty thousand (50,000) dollars be authorized under
the Tree Maintenance Project with United Pacific Corporation.
S_e_ct:ion ~: This Resolution shall become effective
immediately upon its adoption.
