A RESOLUTION OF THF. CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
LYNWOOD AUTHORIZING THE NEGOTIATION OF CONTRACTS
FOR GRADING, WALL INSTALLAT:[ON AND IRRIGATION
EQUIPMENT PURCHASE FOR THE PROPOSED LINDBERGH
FARE DEVELOPMENT
FVHEREAS, the Lindbergh Park Development Project is listed
as a capital improvement project under the FY 1985-86 budget, and
WHEREAS, the project is budgeted for $43,800 with state
bond money, and
S1rHEREAS, the grading, wall installation and irrigation
equipment purchase work can be done in a more timely and efficient
manner by negotiating contracts, and
WHEREAS, City Council can authorize the negotiation of a
grading, wall installation and irrigation equipment purchase
contract under Section 2-62 (c) of the Municipal Code of the City
of Lynwood, and
NOH', THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVEll by the City Council of the
City of Lynwood as follows:
Section L_ That contracts be negotiated with private
contractors for the grading, wall installation and irrigation
equipment purchase at the proposed Lindbergh Park.
Section 2: This Resolution shall become effective
immediately upon its adoption.
PASSED, APPROVED and ADOPTED this _18-th day of _-March____,
1986.
