A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF LYNWOOD GRANTING AN
INGRESS AND EGRESS EASEMENT TO ST. FRANCIS
MEDICAL CENTER
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Lynwood ha.s
determined that the easement is necessary for the convenience,
welfare, and safety of the public, and.
WHEREAS, traffic safety and circulation will. be
improved by the granting of said easement, and
WHEREAS, St. Francis Medical Center agrees to grant a
five foot (5') sidewalk easement along the southerly line of the
subject site which fronts on undedicated Beechwood Avenue.
WHEREAS, St. Francis Medical Center agrees to sign a.n
agreement with the City of Lynwood. to pay for the installation of
curb and gutter when the City dedicates and improves Beechwood
Avenue.
WHEREAS, St. Francis Medical Center agrees to sign an
agreement to instal]. sidewalk along the Beechwood Avenue frontage of
the subject, site as improvements to the site are made or wi.Y,h].n ten
(10) ,years, whichever comes first.
WHEREAS, it has been determined. that the best interest of
the City shall be served by the granting of said easement, and
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF LYNWOOD AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1: The following described easement is necessary
for the proper and safe c.i.rculation of tra.ffi.c in the area.
INGRESS AND EGRESS EASEMENT
AN EASEMENT FOR INGRESS AND EGRESS OVER AND
ACROSS THAT CERTAIN 30 FOOT WIDE STRIP OF LAND
AS SHOWN ON RECORD OF SURVEY FILED IN BOOK 78,
PAGE 6 IN THE OFFICE OF THE RECORDER, COUN'PY OF
LOS ANGELES, STATR OF CALIFORNIA MORE
PARTICULARLY DESCRIBED AS FOLLOWS:
BEGINNING AT THR POINT INTERSECTION OF THE
SOUTHERLY LINE THAT 62.82 ACRE TRACT OF LAND
IN THE RANCHO SAN ANTONIO ALLOTTED TO WILLIAM
MCGRINDLE, DISTRICT COURT CASE NO. 3590 AND
THF. EASTERLY LINE OF BIRCH STREET (50 FOOT
WIDE, THENCE NORTH-WESTERLY ALONG THE EASTERLY
LINE OF SAID BIRCH S'PRF.ET NORTH 8 20'40" WEST,
33.76 FEET TOO THE SOUTHWEST CORNER OF I,OT 1
OF SAID RECORD OF SURVF,Y; THENCE SOUTH 71 03'35"
EAST ALONG TI]E SOUTHERLY LINE OF SAID LOT 1,
669.35 FEET; THENCE SOUTH 18 56'25" WEST, 30.00
FEET TO THE SOUTHERLY LINE OF SAID 62.82 ACRE
TRACT; THENCE ALONG SAID SOITHERLY LINE NORTII

Section 2: That the above described easement is
granted to 5T. FRANCIS MEDICAL CENTF.,R by the City of LYNWOOD.
