APPROVING COLLECTIVE BARGAINING
AGREEMENT BETWEEN THE BOROUGH
OF CARTERET AND THE FMBA AND
AUTHORIZING MAYOR TO EXECUTE
WHEREAS, the current Collective Bargaining Agreement between the Borough
of C arteret and the Firemen's Mutual Benevolent Association Local #67 expired
on December 31, 1998; and
WHEREAS, the Borough and the FMBA have reached a tentative agreement for
a successor Collective Bargaining Agreement for the years 1999, 2000, 2001
and 2002 and are desirous to memorialize said agreement·
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT AND IT IS HEREBY RESOLVED by the Mayor
and Council of the Borough of Carteret as follows:
1. The Collective Bargaining Agreement between the Borough of Carteret
and the FMBA, Local #67 for the years 1999-2002 is hereby approved.
2. The Mayor and Borough Clerk are hereby authorized to execute said
agreement on behalf of the Borough.
Adopted this 2Pt day of June, 2001 and
certified as a true copy of the original
on June 22, 2001.
