A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
LYiW~R~Oll TO APPROVE A CONTRACT AGRFFM~T WITH THE-
LONG BEACH FAIR HOUSIIVG FOUNDATION FOR THE PROVISION
OF CONTINUED FAIR HOUSING SERVICES TO LYN4dO0D
RESIDENTS FOR FISCAL YEAR 1986-87 (JULY 1, 1986
JUNE 30, 1987)
L~TEREAS, under the Federal Regulations, cities that participate
in the Community Development Block Grant Program are required to "Affirmatively
Further Fair Housing"; and
WHEREAS, the Council approved the City's CDBG Statement as final
on April 15, 1986 and the City submitted the Final Statmexit to HUD on May 15,
1986, including its fair housing certification; and
NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of Lynwood does
hereby find, determine, order and resolve as follows:
Section 1. Approve and adopt the attached Contract Agreement
with the Long Beach Fair Housing Foundation to provide Fair Housing Services
to Lynwood residents for Fiscal Year 1986-87;
Section 2. Authorize the Mayor to execute the attached Cooperation
Agreement with the Long Beach Fair Housing Foundation.
