A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LYNWOOD
APPROVING THE AMENDMENT TO JOINT EXERCISE OF POWERS
AGREEMENT FOR INSURANCE AND RISK MANAGEMENT PURPOSES
DATED MAY 21, 1986
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Lynwood is a member of the
Independent Cities Kisk Management Authority; a.nd
WHEREAS, the Independent Cities Risk Management Authority anticipates
expanding its programs to include certain funded and unfunded pooling concepts;
and
WHEREAS, said expansion of existing programs requires the modification
of the Authority's Amendment To Joint Exercise Of Powers Agreement For Insurance
and Risk Management Purposes dated May 21, 1986; and
WHEREAS, Modifications to the Amendment To Joint Exercise of Powers
Agreement For Insurance and Risk Management Purposes dated May 21, 1986 require
that two-thirds (2/3rds) of the member cities elected bodies agree to the amendment.
NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of Lynwood does hereby
find, determine, order and resolve as follows:
Section 1. That the City Council of the City of Lynwood does hereby
approve the Amendment To Joint Exercise of Powers Agreement For
Insurance and Risk Management Purposes dated May 21., 1986, which is
attached hereto (Exhibit A).

Section 2. This resolution shall become effective immediately upon
its adoption.
