RESOLUTION OP THE CITY COUNCIL OP TIIE
CITY OF LYN}VOOD AUTHORIZING ANTI-GRAFFITI
CONTRACT

WHF..REAS, :it i.s necessary to remove graffiti
from certain walls and other building surfaces in
Ham Park; and
1VHEREAS, City sta:f:f has reviewed the available
ant:i.-graffiti covering material and :found that the best
appropriate material (Ty-Cote Pigmented) can be obtained
:From only one vendor and that it is :in the best interest
of the City to utilize a similar material for all City
anti-graffiti work; and
WHEREAS, the purchase of the anti-graffiti
material and services can be more economically and
efficiently e:f:f:ected by means o:f: the :i.nformal bidding
process currently uti.li.zed by staff,
NOIV, TIIEREPORE, BE IT RESOLVEll by the City
Council as follows:
1. The recitals above are true and correct.
2. The City Manager :i.s authori.zed to execute
a negotiated agreement without competitive bidding for
r'°'ti the provision of Ham Park anti-graffiti removal and
j ' maintenance services with Community Youth Lang Services
~ ~ Project in the amount of not to exceed $8,200 or_r~sub-
stanti.ally the terms and conditions described in t_he -
proposal report presented with this resolution anti at-
tacked hereto. -~.
