A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIh OF THE
CITY OF LYNWOOD AUTHORIZING AN APPROFRIATION
OF ADDITIONAL FUNDS FROM THE I-105 CENTURY
FREEWAY GRANTS FUND AND WATER FUND TO COVER '
THE COST OF THF, WATER SYSTEM MODIFICATION
PROJECT N0. 5-5061

WHERF,AS, the City Council in June, 1986, adopted the
budget for fiscal year 1986-87; and
WHEREAS, the Water System Modification Project was
budgeted for one million three hundred thousand dollars
($1,300 ,000}; and
WHEREAS, the bids for the project were opened on July 3,
1986, with the lowest bid being $2,026,429.50; and
WHEREAS, the final construction cost is projected to be '
$2,230,000 including contingencies; and
WHEREAS, additional funds are required to cover the
project cost; and
WHEREAS, additional funds are available in the I-105 i
Century Freeway Grants Fund and Water Fund; and ;
WHEREAS, the City Council has studied this appropriation
and its budget implications:

City of Lynwood that:
SECTION 1_ That the City Manager is authorized to make
the following changes to the budget:
