A RESOLUTION OP THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LYNWOOD
AMENDING THE CLASSIFICATION PLAN AND GENERAL AND MANAGE-
MENT SALARY SCHEDULES TO INCLUDE THE POSITIONS OF ASSIS-
TANT CITY MANAGER, PERSONNEL OFFICER, DIRECTOR OF ACCOUNTING
AND ADMINISTRATIVE ANALYST I, II AND III
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Lynwood has adopted an Employee
Classification and Position Plan and amended same as needed; and
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Lynwood had adopted a salary
resolution with salary schedules including General and Management salary schedules;
and
WHEREAS, the City Council has recognized the need to consolidate specific
administrative functions in the City Manager's office; and
WHEREAS, consolidation of these functions requires authorization of job
descriptions; and
WIC REAS, the required job analyses have been completed and the classifica-
tion statements for Assistant City Manager, Personnel Officer, Director of Accounting
and Administrative Analyst I, II and III prepared on that basis.
WHEREAS, the Personnel Board has recommended the new classifications;

6~REAS, the City Council of the City of Lynwood has reviewed the proposed
action and approved same;
NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of hynwood does hereby find,
determine, order and reso'_ve as follows:
Section L. Amend the Employee Classification and Posi_ti_on Plan to include i
the classifications of Assistant Sity Manager, Personnel Officer, Director of
Accounting and Administrative Analyst I, II, III and delete the unused positions of j
Assistant to the City Manager, Accounting Manager, Personnel Manager a.nd Administra- ~
tive Analyst, upon the filling of the new positions created in the reorganization.
Section 2. Amend the General Salary Schedule a.t the level of 14G to replace
the existing Administrative Analyst title with the title of Administrative Analyst I.
Section 3. Amend the Management Salary schedule to include the Assistant
City Manager at the level of lOM, Personnel Officer and Director of Accounting at
the level of 6M, Administrative Analyst II at the level of 1M and Administrative
Analyst III at the level of 4M,
'Section 4. This resolution shall become effective i.mmedi.ately upon its
adoption.
