- AUTHORIZING A PROFESSIONAL SERVICES CONTRACT FOR
ENGINEERING SERVICES WITH T&M ASSOCIATES-HILL DISTRICT
AND WEST CARTERET SANITARY SEWER SYSTEM
REHABILITATION DESIGN AND OPERATION AND MAINTENANCE
MANUAL
WHEREAS, the Borough of Carteret is in need of specialized engineering
services for the Sanitary Sewer Rehabilitation Design and preparation of a manual
for the Hill District and West Carteret Sanitary Sewer System Operation and
Maintenance; and
WHEREAS, the Borough's Consulting Engineer, Donald J. Norbut, P.E.,
C.M.E., of T &M Associates, possess the requisite skill and expertise to provide
said services; and
WHEREAS, Donald T. Norbut, P.E., C.M.E. has submitted a proposal to provide
said engineering services at a total cost not to exceed $50,000.00; and
- WHEREAS, the Mayor and Council have reviewed said proposal;
WHEREAS, the Chief Financial Officer has certified that funds are or will be
available for said purpose.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Mayor and Council of the
Borough of Carteret, County of Middlesex, State of New Jersey, as follows:
I. That the proposal from Donald T. Norbut, P.E., C.M.E. ofT&M
Associates for engineering services related to (the preparation and
execution of a manual) Hill District and West Carteret Sanitary
Sewer System Operation and Maintenance, in the total amount of
$50,000.00 billable in accordance with T&M's existing contract with
the Borough is hereby approved.
2. That annexed hereto is a copy of said proposal;
I 3. That this action is approved as an award of a professional services
contract pursuant to N.S.S.A. 40A:11-5(l)(a). A notice of this
award shall be advertised as required by law.
