WHEREAS, under the provisions o{ the Laws relatinR_
to Genera]. T,,aw Cities in the State of Cali.:Eorn:ia, a special
municipal e].ecti.on shall. he held on November 4, 1986, for the
election of one Munic:ipa7 Officer;
NOW, 'fHEREPORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OP TILE CITY OF
LYNWOOD, CALIPORNII~, DOGS RPiSOI,.VF, llEChARE, DETERMINE AND
ORDER AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. That pursuant to the requirements of
the :Laws of the State of California re,lat.ng to Genera]. Lana
Cities w:i.thin the State, there is called and ordered held i_n
the C:i.ty of Lynwood, California on Tuesday, November 4, 1986,
a special municipal. election of the qualified electors of the
City for the purpose of electing one (1) Member of the city
Council to fill. the vacancy for the term ending November, 1989
Section 2. That the ballots to be used at the
election shall be, .in -Corm and content, such as may be required
by law to be used in the election.
Section 3. 't'hat the City Clerk of the City i.s
authorized, instructed. and directed to procure and furnish any
and all o:CEi.cial ballots, notices, printed matter and all
supplies, equipment and paraphernalia that may he necessary
in order to propera.y and ].awfully conduct the election.
Section 4. ']'hat the polls for the election shall.
he open at seven o'clock a.m. of the day of the election and
shall remain open continuously from that time until eight
o'cl.ocl: p.m.. of the same day when the polls shall be closed,
except as provided in Section 14301 of the Elections Code of
the State of California.
Section 5. That i.n all particulars not recited in this
Resolution, the election shall be held and conducted as provided
by law for holding municipal elections in the City.
Section 6. That notice oC: the tame and place of hoLding~
the election is given and the City Clerk :i_s authorized, instructed
and directed to give such further or additional notice of the
election, in t:i.me, form and manner as required by law.

passage and adop tion of this Resolution and. enter it into the
book o~L original Resolutions.
