A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF LYNWOOD APPROVING AN AMENDMENT
TO THE CITY'S LETTER OF C°-E'DIT WITH HUD
INCREASING THE CITY'S CDDG ENTITLEMENT
AMOUNT FROM $967,787 TO $1,164,787 FOR
FISCAL YEAR 1986-87
WHEREAS, on April 15, 1986, Council approved the City's CDBG
Application to HUD totalling $967,787; and
WHEREAS, on July 31, 1986, the City received notification
from HUD of an amendment increasing the CDBG Entitlement amount
from $967,787 to $1,164,787 (reflecting a total increase of
$197,000); and
WHEREAS, HUD further requires that citizens be provided the
opportunity to comment on the proposed uses of the additional
$197,000 in CDBG funds; and
WHEREAS, Council has conducted a public hearing on August 19,
1986, to consider citizen comments in compliance with HUD require-
ment.
NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of Lynwood does
hereby determine, order and resolve as follows:
SECTION 1. Approve and adopt the proposed uses of the addi-
tional $197,000 in CDBG funds as final for fiscal year 1986-87.
PASSED, APPROVED, and ADOPTED this 2nd day of September
1986.
