RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF LYNWOOD APPROVING THE SALE OF LAND BY THE
LYNWOOD REDEVETAPMENT AGENCY TO IMPERIAL
HIGHWAY & LONG BEACH ASSOCIATES FOR THE
DEVELOPMENT OF REAL PROPERTY LOCATED AT LONG
BEACH BOULEVARD AND 3301 IMPERIAL HIGHWAY IN
THE REDEVELOPMENT PROJECT AREA "A..
WHEREAS, section 33433 of the Health and Safety Code requires
the City Council after public hearing to approve the sale of land acquired
with tax increment money; and
WHEREAS, subject to the approval of the Lynwood City Council the
Lynwood Redevelopment Agency, by Resolution No. LRA 86- 32 ,. dated
September 2, 1986, has approved the sale of approximately 14,275 square feet
of real property located on the Northeast corner of Imperial Highway and Long
Beach Boulevard, to Imperial Highway & Long Beach Associates, for the sun of
$211,647 and has authorized the execution of an Amended and Restated Disposition
and Development Agreement for said sale; and
WHEREAS, the City Council held a public hearing on the proposed
sale pursuant to publication of notice as required by State Law; and
WHEREAS, the Lynwood City Council has received and considered
the report of said Agency on the proposed development to be carried out
pursuant to said Disposition and Development Agreement and the Negative
Declaration on such proposed development; and as result of its said con-
sideration and evidence presented at the hearing on the same matter, this
Council has determined that the proposed development will not have any
significant effect on the environment other than as identified in the
Environmental Assessment (Initial Study) prepared for subject project.
NCW, THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of Lynwood does
hereby find, determine, order and resolve as follows:
Section 1. This Council hereby concurs with those findings made
by the Lynwood Redevelopment Agency by its Resolution LRA No. 86- 32 ,
dated September 2, 1986, and its action approving a Negative Declaration with
respect to the proposed development.
Section 2. The acquisition and combination of parcels as provided
in the Agreement is necessary and appropriate to create an economically viable
development unit.
Section 3. This Council hereby approves the sale by the Lynwood
Redevelopment Agency to Imperial Highway & Long Beach Associates for the basic
amount of $211,647 (subject to be increased as set forth in Section 202 of
the proposed Amended and Restated Disposition and Development Agreement and
hereafter described), of that certain real property located at the Northeast
corner of Imperial Highway and Long Beach Boulevard, in the City of Lynwood,
County of IAS Angeles, State of California, and more particularly described
as follows:

which real property is within the Lynwood Redevelopment Project Area "A".
Section 4. The aforesaid Amended and Restated Disposition
and Development Agreement between the Lynwood Redevelopment Agency and
Imperial Highway & Inng Beach Associates is hereby approved. No
further approval by the Lynwood City Council shall be required for said
Agency to enter into such Agreement or convey said land pursuant thereto.
