A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF TEMPLE CITY
MAKING FINDINGS AND DETERMINATIONS WITH RESPECT
TO THE CONSTRUCTION OF CERTAIN PUBLIC IMPROVEMENTS
OF BENEFIT TO THE ROSEMEAD BLVD. REDEVELOPMENT
PROJECT AND APPROVING AND AUTHORIZING EXECUTION OF
AN AGREEMENT BETWEEN THE TEMPLE CITY COMMUNITY
REDEVELOPMENT AGENCY AND THE CITY OF TEMPLE CITY
WHEREAS, the CITY OF TEMPLE CITY ( "CITY ") is undertaking
the construction of certain public improvements as described in
that proposed Agreement for the Construction of Public Improvements
with the Rosemead Blvd. Redevelopment Project ( "Agreement ")
between the TEMPLE CITY COMMUNITY REDEVELOPMENT AGENCY ( "AGENCY ")
and the City; and
WHEREAS, the Agency desires to pay the City for the cost
of public improvements as described in Agreement, the terms and
conditions of such payment being contained in said Agreement; and
WHEREAS, the terms and conditions of said Agreement are
acceptable to the City; and
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF
TEMPLE CITY AS FOLLOWS:
1. The City Council hereby finds and determines that the
improvements as described in said Agreement are of benefit to the
Rosemead Blvd. Redevelopment Project and the immediate neighbor-
hood in which the Project is located.
2. The City Council hereby finds and determines that no
other reasonable means of financing the public improvements as
described in said Agreement are reasonably available to the City.
3. The Agreement is hereby approved and the Mayor is
authorized to execute said Agreement on behalf of the City.
4. The City Clerk shall certify to the adoption of this
Resolution.
