Home My Public Portal Aboutr 04:307 2Rczalutian af ±qc ~araugq af @c¡dcrd, ~t JJ~ No. 04-307 Date of Adoption Ck.tohPr 7, 2004 - I AUTHORIZING A PROFESSIONAL SERVICES CONTRACT FOR THE HAYWARD AVENUE PUMP STATION WITH HATCH MOTT MCDONALD WHEREAS, the Borough of Carteret is in need of specializing engineering services in connection with the Hayward Avenue Pump Station; and WHEREAS, the Borough's consulting engineers, Hatch Mott McDonald possess the requisite experience and expertise to provide said services; and WHEREAS, Hatch Mott McDonald has submitted a proposal to provide said services, to include an evaluation and recommendation for upgrades to the Hayward A venue Pump Station, at a total cost not to exceed $6,000.00, and; WHEREAS, the Mayor and the Council have reviewed said proposal; and; WHEREAS, the Chief Financial Officer has certified that funds are or will be available for said purpose. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Mayor and the Council of the Borough ofCarteret, County of Middlesex, State of New Jersey, as follows: 1. The proposal from Hatch Mott McDonald for engineering services related to the Hayward Avenue Pump Station at a total cost not to exceed $6,000.00 is hereby approved; 2. This action is approved as an award of a professional services contract pursuant to N.J.S.A 40A:II-5(1)(a) 3. The copy of this Resolution be forwarded to the Borough's Purchasing Department and Hatch Mott McDonald.
