AWARDING CONTRACT FOR PURCHASE
OF A GARBAGE TRUCK
WHEREAS, the Borough of Carteret requires a garbage truck to serve the
residents of the community; and
WHEREAS, the Borough Purchasing Agent has solicited and received one bid
proposal for the purchase of a garbage truck as follows:
1. Cambria Automotive Companies, Inc. $ 159,777.00
WHEREAS, Cambria Automotive Companies, Inc., 460 Route 1, Edison, New
- Jersey 08818-1247 submitted the only bid for said equipment as evidenced by the
response on file with the Borough Purchasing Agent; and
WHEREAS, the Governing Body has reviewed the above bid proposal and
desires to award a contract to Cambria Automotive Companies, Inc.
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the Mayor and Council of the
Borough of Carteret as follows:
1. That the appropriate Borough Officials are hereby
authorized to enter into a contract with Cambria
Automotive Companies, Inc. to furnish one (1) 2005 Mack
MR688C Garbage Truck for the sum of $159,777.00, in
accordance in all respects with the request for proposals
and bid on same.

and certified as a true copy of the
- original on October 8, 2004.
