Official Launch of Arts & Cultural District
Leesburg, VA (September 16, 2021) – Please join the Commission on Public Arts (COPA) and
Friends of Leesburg Public Arts (FOLPA) during the official kick-off of the Arts & Cultural District
in downtown Leesburg. Leesburg Mayor Kelly Burk will deliver a few remarks prior to the event.

WHERE: Loudoun County Courthouse Grounds
Both COPA and FOLPA will partner with BENEFIT’s 2021 Crossroads Music Festival, which will
feature twenty-five musicians and bands at nine different venues in Leesburg’s historic
downtown. Festival attendees will also have the opportunity to participate in an interactive art
display, a BINGO challenge, attend a public art tour, and learn more about the district and
upcoming plans. Admission to the event is free however, donations are welcome.
Established in 2017, BENEFIT is a coalition of musicians and community leaders uniting people
with music to raise funds and awareness for nonprofits serving children.
