Leesburg, VA (September 7, 2021) –The Leesburg Public Works & Capital Projects Department will host its next free community document shredding event on Saturday, September 18 from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Heritage High School (520 Evergreen Mills Road). During this shredding event, the Town will sponsor a food drive to benefit Loudoun Interfaith Relief’s food bank. Residents are encouraged to bring non-perishable food items only. Participation in the food drive is voluntary. Residents do not have to donate to participate in the shred event. Up to three boxes/bags, weighing 32 gallons or less, will be accepted. If all shredding vehicles are full before 1 p.m. the event will close early. The event will be held rain or shine.
