Mayor Kelly Burk to Host Open House at Leesburg Town Hall
The event will take place on Friday, October 1 from 6 to 7 p.m.
Leesburg, VA (September 28, 2021) – Mayor Kelly Burk
will host an open house on Friday, October 1, for those
interested in visiting her new office.
In April, the Leesburg Town Council approved a
dedicated office space for the mayor on the second
floor of Town Hall.
Prior to her new location, Burk set up office hours
throughout the town, which provided residents with
the opportunity to sit and share concerns and feedback
with her.
“So many people were supportive of the whole concept
of the mayor having an office,” Burk said. “I just want
them to see the results of their support.”
The open house will take place from 6 to 7 p.m. at Town Hall, 25 W Market Street. The first
floor art exhibit will also be open to the public. A variety of ceramics, oils, charcoal drawings,
photographs, and multimedia, created by local artist Larry Roeder, will be on display through
November 30, 2021.
