A RESOLUTION: APPROVING A HOSTING AGREEMENT BETWEEN THE
TOWN OF LEESBURG AND EARTH NETWORKS INC FOR
THE PLACEMENT OF A WEATHER STATION ON THE ROOF
OF TOWN HALL
WHEREAS,ABC News 7 and its affiliate, Earth Networks, Inc., approached the Town
regarding the placement of a Weather Station in Downtown Leesburg; and
WHEREAS, a suitable location was identified, utilizing an existing antenna located on
the roof of Town Hall; and
WHEREAS, Earth Networks, Inc. and Town staff have prepared a Hosting Agreement
acceptable to both parties.
THEREFORE, RESOLVED, by the Council of the Town of Leesburg in Virginia as
follows:
The Town Manager is authorized to execute a Hosting Agreement, in a form
approved by the Town Attorney, with Earth Networks, Inc. for the placement of a
Weather Station, as described in the Agreement, on the roof of Town Hall.
