A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF LYNWOOD AUTHORIZING THE FOLLOWING BUDGET
AMENDMENTS IN ORDER TO FUND A CONTRACT FOR
STREET SWEEPING SERVICES
WHEREAS, the City has reviewed the costs and benefits
of an in-house street sweeping services versus contracting for
these services; and
WHEREAS, it has been found that contracting for street
sweeping services is a more cost effective method of providing
_-, this service; and
WHEREAS, the FY86-87 budget needs to be amended in
order to do this.
NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of Lynwood
does hereby find, determine, order and resolve as follows:
Section 1. That the City Manager or his designee is
hereby authorized to make the following budget amendments:
Street Maintenance Fund
Street maintenance (3-4447):

Section 2. This resolution shall take effect
immediately upon its adoption.
