A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF LYNWOOD AUTHORIZING THE FOLLOWING
AMENDMENTS TO THE FY 1986-87 BUDGET IN ORDER
TO PURCHASE AND INSTALL CHRISTMAS DECORATIONS
WHEREAS, the City Council is desirous of purchasing
Christmas Decorations for City streets and City Hall; and
WHEREAS, funds in the General Fund and Business
Improvement District Fund can be expended for this purpose; and
WHEREAS, the FY86-87 Budget needs to be amended to
purchase the Christmas Decorations and to cover the costs of
installations.
NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LYNWOOD
DOES HEREBY FIND, ORDER, AND RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. That the City Manager or his designee is
authorized to make the following additional appropriations:

Section 2. That the City Manager or his designee is
authorized to make the following budget amendments:
Business Improvement District Fund (25):
ACCOUNT FROM TO DIFF.
4116-4220 $80,000 $65,000 (15,000)
4116-4313 0 15,000 15,000
Section 3. That the approved capital outlay list is
amended to include Christmas Decorations.
Section 4. The City Council hereby finds and
determines that the services described herein may be more
efficiently and economically effected through an informal bid and
contract procedure then through a formal bid procedure.
Section 5. This resolution shall go into effect
immediately upon its adoption.
PASSED, APPROVED and ADOPTED this 4th day of
