A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY Q~UNCIL OF THE
CITY OF LYNWOOD APPROVING A REQUEST ~
SECTJRE BUILDING REHABILITATION CONSULTING
~~ SERVICES AND AUTHORIZING AN AMEND'~IEDTP TO
T[~ FY 1986-87 BUDGET
WHEREAS, the City needs to secure consulting services in the
field of building rehabilitation on an as-needed basis in support of the
City's Rehabilitation Program; and
WHEREAS, no monies have been appropriated in the FY 1986-87
Budget for said cronsulting services; and
WHEREAS, there are projected savings of over $20,000 in
salaries and fringe benefits resulting from unfilled positions in the
H.C.D.A. Division.
NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of Lynwood does
hereby find, proclaim, and resolve as follows:
Section 1. That (a) the City Manager or his designee is
authorized to negotiate the terms of an agreement for building rehabilitation
consulting services with a qualified fine for an amount not to exceed
$15,000 and (b) the Mayor is authorized to approve and execute said
agreement.
` Section 2. That the City Manager of his designee is authorized
to make the following budget amendments:

Section 3. This resolution shall go into effect in¢nediately
upon its adoption.
