Ande.rson,Molander, cIntYre,Pete-rson and Venable present.Cordill
absent.
Mrs.Wyl-ert and Riedel were present as a co^mittee of t'ne library

Soma talked about includin.' .a municipal building but t'ris plan
was turned dorm. Ch as .Robinson was called to the meeting to give

Tr.'Thhinscn and Tinker (gave th i r estimates of r'aterials of
the li'o:rary as around 6 2?? 3.80. This price was to be used as a
basis for figuring whether there was enoh money svailable,to
start t' -e building.T e library board had a 1,C!.f to start it,
drd t' -le rest was to be furnished. by the town.
After some discussion the question whetther it was legal to
take money from other funds and use it for building a library.
It was left to the r.r`.yor to look t'rbis matter up.
It ,,as decided t- atthe board waive the right to pay fcr
t b. s meeting.

Regular Meeting
January 2 1934
The meeting was called to order at 7:45 P.M. by Mayor VanBuskirk.
Anderson,M"olander,Mclntvre,Peterson and «enable Present, Cordill.
absent.
The minutes of the regular meeting of December 5 and special
meetings of December 12 & 14 were read and appr. ved as corrected.
Cormunication from the state tax commission asked that the
town fill out a form for raising the tax levv.This was left to
tre celrk to take care of.
The Mayor stated that Mr. Cramer of the State Municipal League
explained that it was not legal for the town to use money from
a fund which has been levied in that fund in another for building
a library.
Fire Chief Tinker asked the Board to allow the fi renien a
regular allowance of .50 per member for a fire rin each month
for one fire run only.
Anderson moved,McIntyre seconded:That the firemen be allowed
.500 for only fire run each month where they do not use water
or other prevenitivee.A11 voted aye upon roll call.
Mr.Porter asked the Board to put a license on all milkmen
who sell milk in Ault. The Board thought that it would this would
make a injustiee to some of the men, so no action was taken.
Chas.Frve asked the Board to tile the water hole In front of
his house.This was left to the S.& A.Committee to look up.Mr.
Newman had surveyed the ground and found that the corner at
John Andrews is six inches higher than the low place in front
of Frye's house and that the alley behind Woods' house is 10 in.
lower thatn the low point.It was decided to make an open ditch
through Woods garden and across the alley and to make a cement
trough through the Woods corral and cover this with plank so
that it could be removed if the trough was filled with rubbisk.
A report by Mr.Tegtman stated that the ash pit situation was
better as some were snaking pits.
Dale Carl asked the Board what they were going to do about
inetaling the motor in the new well.
