SALARY SCHEDULE FOR FY 86-87 REGARDING SPECIAL COMPENSATION FOR CITY TREASURER WHF.RF.AS, the City Council of the City of Lynwood has adopted Resolution 86-90 which includes a. salary schedule for Fiscal Year 1986-87; and i WHEREAS, the City Treasurer is performing the duties defi"ned in Government Code Section 41000-41007; and 4713EREAS, the City Treasurer is performing additional. duties as outlined in Exhibit A. NOW, TIC RE FORE, the City Council of the City of Lynwood does hereby resolve as follows: Section 1. Investments of idle funds: a) Supervise the development of projected cash flow analysis to determine availability of funds and needed maturities. i b) Review and approval of the placement of funds with financial institutions and determination of maturing dates based on cash flow needs. c) Review market conditions to determine type of securities that offer highest interest rates available with consideration of safety. 2. Analysis of financial institutions: a) Review of audited bank statements to insure financial solvency and safety of City funds. b) Supervision of the development of micro-computer program to monitor this function. 3. Preparation and annual review of City investment policy which is submitted to the City Council. 4. Review and approval of monthly City Treasurer's report. 5. Attend conferences and meetings to obtain the latest techniques of investments with cash flow monitoring, etc.. 6. Review of state legislation affecting City Treasurer's function. 7. Conferences with bank officials regarding conditions of City accounts, status of funds and investments. 8. Miscellaneous other duties.
