A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF LYNWOOD AUTHORIZING THE AMENDMENT OF THE
FY 86-87 BUDGET IN ORDER TO RFLECT THE
PURCHASE OF EXCESS CAL TRANS PROPERTY FOR
PARKLAND DEVELOPMENT ,-
WHEREAS, the City Council on September 2, 1986, approved
the purchase of excess Cal Trans properties for parkland
development for an amount not to exceed one million dollars; and
WHEREAS, the City Council adopted Resolutions 86-123 and
86-129 in October, 1986 which committed the City to the purchase
of fourteen surplus properties with a value of $572,400; and
WHEREAS, a down payment of 10$ is now due on the
parcels; and
WHEREAS, the FY 86-87 Budget needs to be amended to
reflect these purchases.
NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of Lynwood
does hereby find, order and resolve as follows:
Section 1. That the City Manager or his designee is
' hereby authorized to make the following budget amendments,
transfers and additional appropriations.
