A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
ACCEPTING THE BID PROPOSAL OF PACIFIC ENERGEN, INC.
IN THE AMOUNT OF FOURTEEN THOUSAND DOLLARS (514,000) TO
PERFORM THE DESIGN PHASE OF THE COGENERP.TION PROCESS
AT THE NATATORIUM AQUATIC FACILITY
WHEREAS,- the City of Lynwood is desirous of conserving
energy and the subsequent cost related there of, and
WHEREAS, staff has explored a variety of energy
sources, and
WHEREAS, Cogeneration has proven to be viable energy
system for the Natatorium, and
WHEREAS, staff has requested proposals from seven (7)
Engineering and P"ianagement Firms, and
WHEREAS, four l4) firms responded with Pacific Energen,
Inc., submitting a proposal of fourteen thousand dollars
(514,000), and -
THEREFOR, be it resolved that the City Council accepts
the proposal of Pacific Energen as the engineering firm tc
complete the design phase of Cogeneration at the Natatorium, and
authorize the Mayor, on behalf of the city, to enter into a
contract agreement with the above stated firm for the design
services.
PASSED, APPROVED AND ADOPTED this 20th day of January,
1987.
