A H~SOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF TH~ CITY OF LYNWOOD
ORDFHING THE VACATION AND ABANDONMENT FOR PUBLIC PURPOSES
OF TIiAT PORTION OP THE FIRST ALLEY NOR7'}I OF JOSEPIIINE
j STREET BETWEGN MURIEL DRIVE AND THORSON AVENUE, AS SHOWN
ON THE MAP OF TRACT N0. 9235, IN THE CiTY OF LYNWOOD,
COUNTY OF LOS ANGELES, STATE OF CALIFORNIA MAP BGOK 129,
PAGF.S 10 AND 11 OF MAYS IN THE OFF'TCE OF TH~ LOS ANGF.LES
COUNTY RECORDER.
WI~EREAS, the City Counci.l oF the City of Lynwood did,
on the 16th day of December, 1986, adopt a Resolution N+7. 86-159,
declaring its intention to vacate that portion of the first al:ley
north of Josephine Street between Muriel Drive and Thorson Avenue in
the City of Lynwood, as hereina£ter described, and
WHEREAS, notices of said vacation were publ.ished and
posted in the time, form and manner required by law, and
WHEkEAS, a Public Hearing on the matter was held on the
3rd da.y of February, 1987, as prescribed by l.aw,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RF.SOLVED by the City Council of
the Ci.ty of Lynwood as £ollows:
Section 1_ That the following descciGed alley easement
is unnecessary for present or prospective public use, and that
~ the public interest, necessity, and convenience require, and the
City Counc:i.l of said City hereby declares i.ts order to vacate and
abandon said alley easement;
That portion of first alley North of Josephine Street, between
Muriel Drive and Thorson Avenue as shown on Map of Tract No.
9235, in the City of Lynwood, County of Los Angeles, State of
California, Map Book 129, Page 10 and 11 of maps in the Office of
the Los Angeles County Recarder.
5ection 2_ That the City of Lynwood reserves an
easement :in, over, or upvn said above descr:ibed property Por the
construction, erection, and/or maintenance therein of public
utilities.
5ection 3. That an easement be reserveci for the
Pacific Telephone and Telegraph Company to and from time to time
construct, maintain, operate, replace, remove and renew such
aerial and underground communication Facilities (includi.ng
ingress thereto and agress therefrom) consisting o£~poles,
anchors, guys, cables, wires, crossarms, conduits, manholes,
handholes, markers, pedestals, terminal equipment cabinets,
electrical conductors and necessary i'iKtures and appurt:enances.
Sectian 4_ That an easement be reserved for the
Southern Cali.fornia Edison Company, a corporation organized and
existing under and by virtue of the laws of the State of
California, a rightrof-way to construct, maintain, operate, replace,
renew, remove and repair power facilities consisting of poles,
~nchors, guys, cables, wires, crossarms, conduits, manholes,
handholes, markers, pedestals, transformers, terminal equipment
cabinets, electrical conductors and necessary fixtures and
appuretenances.

Section 5_ That an easement be reserved for the Rogers
C3ble Systems Company to maintain, operate, replace, remove, renew
and repair existing rable television consisting of poles, anchors,
guys, cables, wires, crossarms, conduits, markers, terminal
equipment cabi.nets and necessary £ixtures and appurtenances.
Section 6_ That the City Cl.erk of the City of Lynwood
shall cause a certif'ied copy of said order to be recorded in the
office of the Recorder of I~os Angeles County.
Section 7_ This resolui:ion shall take ei'fect
immediatel,y upon its adoption.
