A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COIINCII. OF THF. CITY OF
LYNWOOD APPROVING AN AMENDMENT TO CONSULTANT
AGREEMENT FOR WELL N0. ZO CONSTRUCTION PROJECT

WHEREAS, the City of Lynwood and Jaykim Engineers, Inc.
have entered into the certain Consultant Agreement dated March 18,
1986 for Well No. 20 Construction Project; and
WHEREAS, i.t has been determined that additional inspection
and services originally assumed by CalTrans and the City be added to
the afore-mentioned agreement; and
WHEREAS, it has been determined that the redesign of the
Water Well No. 20 to the requirements of State Department of Health
Services be added to the afore-menti.aned Agreement; and
WHEREAS, the cost of the work to be performed under
Consultant Agreement was $17,710.00 and, by reason of the increased
costs referred to above, the cost will he $56,656.66.
NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of Lynwood
does hereby find, proclaim, order and resolve as follows:
Section 1. That an amendment to Consultant Agreement is
approved and that the Mayor is authorized to execute the amendment.
Se_cti_on 2. This resolution shall go into effect
immediately upon its adoption.
