A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIh OF THE CITY OF'
LYNWOOD AWARDING A BID TO SULLY-MILLER CONTRACTING
CO., IN THF. AMOUNT OF $55,097.70 FOR THF. ALLEY
IMPROVEMENT PRO.IECT FOR FY 19$6-87
WHF,REAS, on December 16, 1986, the City Council authorized
~,
staff to advertise for bids for the Alley Improvement Project; and
WHEREAS, a bid opening was held on January 22, 1987 and
Sully-Miller Contracting Co. was the low bidder; and
WHEREAS, a reference check has revealed that the
contractor has a good reputation and the necessary experience in the
street construction.
NOW, 'CHF,REFORE, the City Council of the City of Lynwood
does hereby find, proclaim, order and resolve as follows:
Section 1_ That the bid for the Alley Improvement Froject
for FY 1986-87 is awarded to Sully-Miller Contracting Co.
Section 2_ This resolution shall go into effect
immediately upon its adoption.
