Upon roll call the following members answered present:- Duncan,Ehn.,McTntyre,-olen.der,Mewr: an And Peterson. Absent none. Minutes of the last regular and two special meetin gs were read and approved as read. The Clerk read a proposed ord,nance,giving the Telephone Co. a franchise for a period of Twenty years, softer some discussion McIntyre moved,Molander seconded: -The Board submit the proposed ordinance back to the Tele.Co.for publication before voting on it. On roll call,all voted aye. Ross Jeremaissen appeared beforethe Board asking that the Town tile the remainder og the ditch crossing A St . at the U. S, . Hi hway X85 and also the alley south of his building site at this junction Peterson moved,'::olander seconded: -That this be turned over to the ^ . Comittee. Upon roll call,all voted aye. Forest Powars of Greeley demonst .ated the " `hure-Stop"Fire extingusher.Newman moved,Duncan seconded: -The Town buy one kit of the Shur -Stop Fire extingusher,containing six bombs at 20.00 All voted aye at roll call. Fire Chief Knox asked the Board to permit the Fire Dept.ja blow the fire whistle for fire drillat least once a month. Newman moved,Ehn seconded: -The Fire blow the whistle and have practice drill once a month.Upon roll call all voted aye. „:A communication from the U. P . R. R. Supt was read, decl ing to place a watchman at the R.R.crassing on 1st.St.unless the other crossings were closed. The Clerk was instructed to the Omaha office about the condition. A letter from the Greeley Concrete Torks stated the price of cement tile cf 12 in.dtameter to be .35per foot at Greeley or .40?� delivered at Ault. letter from the Ault Band asked for the support of the Board to the amount of '4`200.00 to cover the expenses of having two concerts a month or the total of thirte.ln in all,dmring the su7m o r months .
