AN ORDINANCE AMENDING THE CODE OF THE CITY OF JEFFERSON, MISSOURI,
REQUIRING MARKERS FOR NEW GRAVES IN LONGVIEW CEMETERY AND
AMENDING THE FEE FOR A CEMETERY LOT.
BE IT ENACTED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF JEFFERSON, MISSOURI, AS
FOLLOWS:
Section 1. Chapter 10 (Cemeteries) is amended by the addition of a new Sec.
10-15 (Markers for new graves required) as follows:
Sec. 10-15. Markers for new graves required.
All burials in Lonsview cemetery after January 1,2013,shall be required to be accompanied
by a Qravestone identifying the person buried therein.
Section 2. Appendix Y is amended as follows.
Chapter 10-13. City Cemetery Lot $200.00 S 400.00
Section 3. This Ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and after the date
of its passage and approval.
