Leesburg Trash Collection to Start at 5:00am on Friday,
January 22, 2016
Residents in the Northeast and Northwest Quadrants encouraged to put their
trash and recycling out on Thursday night.
Leesburg, VA (January 21, 2016) – Due to the major snow storm expected to hit the area late
on Friday, the Town of Leesburg’s solid waste contractor, CSI, will begin trash, recycling and
yard waste collection at 5:00am on Friday, January 22, 2016.
The early start is intended to allow CSI to complete all collections before the snow starts.
Residents in the Northeast and Northwest Quadrants of Town and curbside commercial
customers in the Historic Downtown are encouraged to put their trash, recycling and yard
waste at the curb on Thursday evening. There will be no pickups of missed collections due to
late set-outs. Town Streets crews will be preparing for snow removal operations.
There will be no trash or recycling collection for curbside commercial customers in the Historic
Downtown on Saturday, January 23, 2016.
