After some discussion the "Board called Robert Wyker t from Eaton and asked him what proposition he had to present. He asked for a contract from the City to furnish water to the Jack Tykert residence south of Town. Re also said he did not want the Town to tils through the place as they were plowing but he would be willing to pay the difference in the cost if the,r would go up t' Alley and then down the road west of the house. The water contract could not be given,as it would conflict with Ordinance # 80 regulating the use of water outside of the Townlimits.The Board asked Mr..'ykert to permit the to cross his land on an angle tc the South West to the main road and that he pay half of the cost of the dy .in ge. He declined as he could not se., why he should be call d on t o pay any of it. Gi ►,� ' 1 M a y or Sp.eci l Meet ing May 15 1929 At a special meeting of the Mayor and Board of T stees of the Town of Ault , called pursuant to notice duly given to all members,there were present,Mayor Hasbrouck and Trustees Duncan,Ehn , McIntyre,Molander and Newman. .a The Mayor announced the purpose of the meeting to consider a comprosise of the controversy between the Town of Ault and Jeffie I Wykert,over the right of way ofthe Town for carriage of water from the south end of sec:nd Avenue through a pipe- line and to discharge the same in a ditchat the west line of that part of the northwest quarter of Section 13,Townshic 7 N North,Range 66 West,formerly known as the Curtis lands,now known as the Jeffie I.Wykert lands, in which, over the ob j ecti of the Town, Wykert had placed an obstruction to the passage of water. It was announced a compromise had tentatively been agreed upon by the 'Mayor and Chairman Newman of the eater Works Con. with Mr.Wykert. Said agreement was thereupon presented and read, and here follows:
