A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
LYNWOOD AUTHORIZING COUNCIL TO WAIVE FORMAL BID
PROCEDURE FOR PURCHASE OF IRRIGATION MATERIALS
IN CITY PARK
WHEREAS, Council is desirous of providing improved park facilities;
and
WHEREAS, funds are available for expansion of automated irrigation
system in City Park through the 1980 Parklands Act; and
WHEREAS, time constraints on the project make the informal bid
process a more expedient means of procuring needed materials; and
WHEREAS, staff can install new materials and equipment;
NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of Lynwood does
hereby find, proclaim, order and resolve as follows:
That formal sealed bid ,process be waived for purchase of
additional irrigation materials and supplies for City Park
Irrigation Project and that staff be instructed to purchase
these materials through informal purchase procedures.
