CITY OF' LYNWOOD ORDERING THE VACATION AND ABANDONMENT OF PUBLIC STREETS AND ALLEYS WITHIN THE LYNWOOD TOWNE CENTER FOR THE DEVELOPMENT PtiRPOSE OF HOPKINS DEVELOPMENT COMPANY AS SHOWN ON THE MAP OF TRACT N0.-2551, IN THE CITY OF LYNWOOD, -.. IN THE COUNTY OF LOS ANGELES, MAP BOOK 24, PAGE 78-80 OF MAP5 IN THE OFFICE OF THE LOS ANGELES COUN'PY RECORDER. WHEREAS, ttre City Council of the City of Lynwood dial, on the 17th day of February, 1987, adopt a Resolution No. 87-22, declaring its intention to vacate that portion of streets and alleys within the Lynwood Towne Center in the City of Lynwood, as hereinafter described, and WHERF,AS, notices of said vacation were published and posted in tlxe time, form and manner- required by law, and WHEREAS, a Public Hearing on the matter was held on the 17th day of March, 1987, as prescribed by law, NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Lynwood as follows: Section 1. That the vacstion of the following described streets and alley easements are necessary for the development purpose of Hopkins Development Company, and the City Council. of said City hereby declares i.ts order to vacate and abandon said street and alley easements; Those portions of struts and alleys within the Lynwood Towne Center as shown on Map of Tract No. 2551, in the City of Lynwood, in the County of Los Angeles, State of California, Map Book 24, Pages 78-80 of maps in the Office of the Los Angeles County Recorder, more particularly described in the attached Exhibits 1 through 6. Section 2_ That the City of Lynwood reserves an easement in, over, or upon said property as described in exhibits 1 through fi attached hereon, for the construction, erection, and/or maintenance therein of public utilities. Section 3. That an easement he reserved upon said property as described in Exhibits 1 through 6 attached hereon for the Pacific Telephone and Telegraph Company to and from time to time construct, maintain, operate, replace, remove and renew such aerial and underground communication facilities (including ingress thereto and agress therefrom) consisting of poles, anchors, guys, cables, wires, crossarms, conduits, manholes, handholes, markers, pedestals, £enninal equipment cabinets, electrical conductors and necessary fixtures and appurtenances. Section 4_ That an easement be reserved upon said property as descrihed in Exhibits 1 through 6 attached hereon for the Southern California Edison Company, a corporation organized and existing under and by virtue of the laws of the State of California, a right-of-way to construct, maintain, operate, replace, renew, remove and repair power facilities consisting of poles, anchors, guys, cables, wires, crossarms, conduits, manholes, handholes, markers, pedestals, transformers, terminal equipment cabinets, electrical conductors and necessary fixtures and appurtenances. Section 5_ That an easement be reserved upon said property as described in Exhibits 1. through 6 attached hereon for the Southern California Gas Company, a corporation organized and existing under and by virtue of the laws of the State of California, a right-of-way to construct, maintain, operate, replace, renew, remove and repair power faci.li.ties consisting of poles, anchors, guys, cables, wires, crossarms, conduits, manholes, handholes, markers, pedestals, transformers, terminal equipment cabinets, electrical conductors and necessary fixtures and appurtenances. Section 6. That an easement be reserved upon said property as described in Exhibit 7 attached hereon for the Rogers Cable Systems Company to maintain, operate, replace, remove, renew and repair existing cable television consisting of poles, anchors, guys, cables, wires, crossarms, conduits, markers, terminal equipment cabinets and necessary fixtures and appurtenances. Section 7_ That the City Clerk of the City of Lynwood shall. cause a certified copy of said order to he recorded in the office of the Recorder of Los Angeles County. Section E3_ This resolution shall take effect immediately upon its adoption. BURT YEAG C y Attorney APPROVED AS TO CON1'F,NT: City of Lynwood --S 'PH Y. .'G, P.E.---- -------- Di ector Public Works/City Engineer EXHIBIT 2 LYNWOOD TOWN CENTER RIGHT OF WAY VACATION t CHESTER STREET That portion of Chester Street (50 feet wide) as shown on Tract No. 2551 as recorded in Map Book 24, pages 78 through 80, in the Office of the Recorder of Los Angeles County, State of California, bounded on the north by the easterly prolongation of the northerly line of Lot 443 of said tract, of said line being the southerly right-of-way line of Sandborn Avenue (40 feet wide}; and bounded on the south by a line beginning at the southwest corner of lot 423 of said corner-, said corner being on the easterly right-of-way line of Chester Street, thence westerly along the westerly prolongation of the southerly line of said lot 423 to its point of intersection with the centerline of Chester Street, thence northerly along said centerline to the point of intersection with t}te easterly prolongation of the southerly line of lot 440 of said tract, thence westerly along said easterly prolongation to the southeast corner of said lot 440, said corner being on the westerly right of way line of Chester Street. ~" C02.862 EXHIBIT 3 LYNWOOD TOWN CENTER RIGHT OF WAY VACATION COURT STREET That portion of Court Street (50 feet wide), formerly known as Lynwood Flace, as shown on Tract No. 2551 as recorded in Map Dook 24, pages 78 through 80, in the Office of the Recorder of T.os Angeles County, State of California, bounded on the north by a line being the northerly prolongation of the easterly line of lot 413 of said tract, said line being the westerly right of way lane of Plaza Street (40 feet wide), and bounded southerly by a line beginning at the southeast corner of lot 423 of said tract, thence easterly along the easterly prolongation of the southerly line of said lot 423 to a point on the centerline of Court Street; thence northerly along said centerline to a point of intersection with a line parallel to and 4.00 feet southerly, measured at right angles, of the westerly prolongation of the southerly line of lot 331 of said tract; thence easterly along said parallel line to the westerly line of lot 413 of said tract, said line being the easterly right of way line of Court Street. C02.865 EXHIBIT 4 AND 5 LYNw00D TOWN CENTER RIGHT OF WAY VACATION PLAZA STREET That portion of Plaza Street (40 feet wide), as shown on Tract Map No. 2551 as recorded in Map Boolc 24, pages 78 through 80, in the Office of the Recorder of Los Angeles County, State of California, bounded on the north by the westerly prolongation of the northerly line of Lot 325 of said tract, said line being the southerly right of way line of Sanborn Avenue (40 feet wide} as shown on said tract, and bounded on the south by a line beginning at the southwest corner lot 337 of said tract, said corner being on the easterly right of way line of Plaza Street, thence westerly along the westerly prolongation of the southerly line of said lot 337 to its point of intersection with. the centerline of Plaza Street; thence northerly along said centerline 146 feet more or less, to a point on a line parallel. with and 4.00 feet southerly, measured at right angles, of the westerly prolongation of the southerly line of lot 331 of said tract; thence westerly along said line 20 feet, more or less, to the easterly line of lot 413 of said tract, said line being the westerly right of way line of Plaza Street. C02.864 EXHIBIT 6 LYNWOOD TOWN CENTER RIGHT OF WAY VACATION ALLEY VACATION That portion of the first alley (16 feet wide} west of Long Beach Boulevard as shown on Tract No. 2551 as recorded in Map Book 24, pages 78 through 80, in the Office of the Recorder of Los Angeles County, State of California, bounded on the north by the southerly right-of-way line of Beechwood Avenue (50 feet wide) as shown on said tract and bounded on the South by the westerly prolongation of the southerly line of lot 312 of said tract. 002.863 EXHIBIT 7 LYNWOOD TOWN CENTER (° ROGERS CABLE NETWORK UTILITY EASEMENT That portion of Sanborn Street (4U feet wide), as shown on Tract Map No. 2551 as recorded in Map Book 24, pages 78 through 80, in the Office of the Recorder of Los Angeles County, State of California, bounded on the east by a line beginning at a point on the northerly line of Lot 323 said Tract, located 25 feet westerly, measured along said northerly line, of the northeast corner of said Lot 323; thence northerly along a lane parallel with and 25 feet westerly, measured at right angles, of the easterly line of Lots 324 and 226, and prolongation thereof, of said tract, to the northerly line of said Lot 226, said line being the westerly right of way line of Long Beach Boulevard; and bound westerly by the southerly prolongation of the easterly line of lot 261 of said tract. Also including: That alley (16 feet wide) as shown on said tract bounded on the north by the southerly line of Beechwood Avenue (50 feet wide) as shown on said tract; bounded on the south by the northerly line Sanborn Street (40 feet wide) as shown on said tract; bounded on the east by the westerly lines of lot 226 through lot 239; and on the west by the easterly line of lots 240 and 261. ~i C04.050
