CITY COUNCIL “PRE-MEETING” WORK SESSION, JUNE 15, 2020
CALL TO ORDER
Mayor Carrie Tergin called the June 15, 2020 City Council “Pre-Meeting” to order at
5:45 P.M. to review the City Council agenda.
Due to COVID-19 social distancing recommendations, the pre-meeting was made
available for participation via WebEx.
ATTENDANCE
The following Council Members were present via WebEx when the meeting convened:
Present: Fitzwater, Graham, Hensley, Hussey, Kemna, Mihalevich,
Schreiber, Vogt, Ward, and Wiseman
Absent: None
A quorum was present.
DISCUSSION OF AGENDA ITEMS
Councilman Schreiber will lead the prayer.
FIRST COUNCIL MEETING (Current Council)
Public Hearing
- City Attorney Ryan Moehlman will present bill 2019 -141 with an amended
exhibit. A public hearing will follow the presentation.
Appointments
- Human Resources Director Gail Strope will present the recommended
appointments.
Consent Agenda Items
- There were no questions on the consent agenda items.
Bills Introduced
- There are no introduced bills on the agenda at this time.
Pending Bills
- City Staff provided a summary of their pending bills.

Unfinished Business
- Councilmembers will have the opportunity to acknowledge Councilman
Mihalevich and wish him well as he is termed out at the end of this meeting.
Adjourn Sine Die
- After adjourning sine die, the Honorable Judge Joyce will join the virtual
meeting and swear in the councilmembers elected on June 2nd.
SECOND COUNCIL MEETING (New Council)
Bills Introduced
- City Staff presented a summary of bill 2020-001.
Resolutions
- City Staff presented a summary of RS2020-1.
ADJOURNMENT
The meeting adjourned at 6:00 P.M.
