AWARDING A BID TO SULLY-MILLEk CONTRACTING COMPANY, IN
'L'HE AMOIJN'[' OF $56, 746 FOR THE STREF,'C IMFROVEMENI' PROJECT -
BRENTON AVENUE FOR FY 1.986-87
WHERF,AS, on January 20, 1987, the City Counci:L
II I authorized staff to advertise for bids for the Street Improvement
Frojer_t; and

WHEREAS, a bid opening was held on February 2G, :L987
and Sully-Miller Contracting Company was the low bidder; and
{dHF.REAS, a reference check has revealed that: the
contractor has a good reputation and the necessary ehperience in
the street construction.
NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of
Lynwood does hereby find, proclaim order and resolve as follows:
Section 1. That the bid for the Street Improvement
Project - Brenton Avenue far FY 1986-87 is awarded to Su1:Ly-M:il~Ler
Contracting Company.
S_e_c_ti._on_ 2. This resolution shall. go into effect
immediately upon i.ts adoption.
