the Library was brought into the discussion.
Molander moved,Fhn seconded: -That the followin:_, resolution be
adopted:7Be it resolved and ordered by the Beard of Trustees
of the Town of Ault, that there be Ind is hereby levied for;

The assessed valuation for the year 1929 was 458,590.
Upon roll call all present voted aye.
The Mayor asked that the Library Board be invited to meet with
the Tewn Board to discuss the library.

Manor Hasbrouck called the meeting to order at 7:40 P.M.
Minutes of the last regular meeting read and approved as corrected.
Roll call showed the fol owire menbers present:--Duncan,Ehn,
Mol tinder. Mclntyr e, Newman & Peterson Absent none.
Mr. Helmick spoke to the Board concerning the buying of the
Fis°st Nat.Bank building and gave Atty.Yelly's vei.w of row to handle
buying the building without an election and cited Greeley's in-
vestr;ents. To action was taken.
Mrs.TTewall,Mrs.Moore and Mrs C.A.Stevens,who as representives
of the W.C. T .U. and three of the churches,asked the Board to do
something concerning- some of the advertisements on the bill -boards
in Town and more especially the cigarett advertisements.The Mayor
promised the support of the Board,as this matter had been talked
of for son;e tine.
New an moved,Molander seconded,The Clerk be instructed to write
to Colo. Springs,Fort Collins & Longmont asking for a copy of their
ordinances concerning bill -boards displaying objecticnal adver-
tiserents.Upon roll call,all voted. aye.
Communications from a Civil Engineer concerning a bid for sewers
was tabled,as was a letter from an Insurance Co.Both were filet for
future reference.
The Library Board then came in and :rs .Brayton, the Pries. spoke to
the Board concerning the Town taking over the Library.After some
discussionand short talks by members of both tre Library and Town
Boards,it was decided to appoint two from each Board to look futhtter
into the handlin9: of the change. Mrs .Brayton appointed Mrs . Reidel
and Mrs. a.E.Smith and Mayor Hasbrouck appointed Mr.McIntyre and
Mr. Ehn, a.f ter which the Library Board retired.
