Resolution Approving Performance -Based Salary
Adjustments for Eligible Office Staff
WHEREAS, on August 8, 2023, City Council discussed performance -based salary adjustments for eligible
office staff, including, and limited to, Kelly Krell, Sabryna Tripp, and Brian Ballard; and,
WHEREAS, based on performance evaluations conducted by City Council in May, June, and July 2023, City
Council wishes to adjust the salaries of the above -named employees effective the beginning of the pay
period in which their anniversary date (date of hire) occurs; and,
WHEREAS, on August 22, 2023, City Council passed Resolution 2023-073 a Resolution Approving a 2.6%
Cost of Living Salary Adjustment for Eligible Office Staff, and those adjusted salaries are reflected below;
and,
WHEREAS, the funding source for this action varies based on hourly rates and split pay amongst several
departments; however, the rates are as follows:

NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Riverdale, Iowa, that:
Section 1.
Section 2.
Eligible office staff, including, and limited to, Kelly Krell, Sabryna Tripp, and Brian Ballard,
are hereby granted a performance -based salary adjustment effective the beginning of the
pay period in which their anniversary date (date of hire) occurs, in the amounts outlined
above.
The Clerk is hereby directed to adjust the salaries of the aforementioned office staff by the
amounts listed above effective the beginning of the pay period in which their anniversary
date (date of hire) occurs.
