AUTHORIZING A PROFESSIONAL SERVICES
CONTRACT WITH T&M ASSOCIATES FOR THE NJ DEP
TIDELANDS LICENSE-WATERFRONT PARK, PHASE II
PROJECT
WHEREAS, the Borough of Carteret is in need of specialized engineering services in
connection with the Tidelands License - Waterfront Park, Phase II; and
WHEREAS, T & M Associates, Eleven Tindall Road, Middletown, New Jersey 07748,
possesses the requisite experience and expertise to provide said services; and
WHEREAS, T & M Associates has submitted a proposal to provide said services at a
total cost not to exceed $1,500.00; and
WHEREAS, the Mayor and Council have reviewed said proposal; and
WHEREAS, the Chief Financial Officer has certified that funds are available for said
purpose.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Mayor and Council of the Borough
ofCarteret, County of Middlesex, State of New Jersey, as follows:
I. The proposal from T & M Associates for engineering services related
to the NJDEP Tidelands License-Waterfront Park, Phase II; at a total cost
not to exceed $1,500.00 is hereby approved;
2. Annexed hereto is a copy of the proposal;
3. This action is approved as an award of a professional services contract
pursuant to NJ.S.A. 40A:II-5 (l)(a)(i).
4. A copy of this Resolution be forwarded to the Borough's Purchasing
Department and T & M Associates.
Adopted this 16th day of December, 2004
and certified as a true copy ofthe
original on December 17, 2004.
