Town of Leesburg Government Offices Will Be Closed on
Monday, January 25, 2016
Town Council Work Session cancelled.
Leesburg, VA (January 24, 2016) – The Town of Leesburg government offices will be closed on
Monday, January 25, 2016, due to the aftermath of Winter Storm Jonas. The Town Council
Work Session, scheduled for 7:30pm on Monday evening, is cancelled .
Other Town facilities that will be closed on Monday, January 25, 2016, include the Thomas
Balch Library and the Ida Lee Park Recreation Center and Tennis Center. Trash collection
scheduled for the SE/SW quadrants of Town and the Historic Downtown has been cancelled for
Monday.
The Leesburg Executive Airport is currently closed, but officials hope to reopen the runway on
Monday.
The Leesburg Police Department remains open 24/7.

(www.facebook.com/LeesburgVirginia) for up-to-date information on Town snow removal
operations.
