SEPTEMBER 4, 2014
The Board of Public Works and Safety of the City of Richmond, Indiana, met at 5:00 P.M., Thursday, July
24, 2014, in the Council Chambers at the Municipal Building, 50 North 5th Street, Richmond, Indiana.
President Robinson called the meeting to order and the following business was conducted:
ROLL CALL
Board members present were: Vicki Robinson and Dick Foore. Absent was Tony Foster.
Also in attendance were Kim Vessels, Assistant City Attorney; Karen Chasteen, City Clerk; Police Chief
and Linda Wolski; Police Lt. Donnie Benedict; City Councilor Phil Quinn; Denise Retz, Cardinal
Greenway; Marla Mitrione; Sue Roberson, Human Resources; and, Media.
APPROVAL OF MINUTES
Mr. Foore moved to approve the August 29, 2014 minutes as presented, supported by Ms. Robinson.
Upon a vote viva voce, the motion carried.
CLAIMS FOR PAYMENT
Mr. Foore moved to approve August 29, 2014 claims in the amount of One Hundred Eighty Four
Thousand One Hundred Eighty Five Dollars and seventy four cents ($184,185.74), supported by Ms.
Robinson. Upon a vote viva voce, the motion carried.
Claims for Payment on September 5, 2014 were not presented.

Ambulance Lease
Not to exceed $200 per day
This ambulance will be used until the ambulance which was involved in an accident is repaired.
