A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LYNWOOD
AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR TO EXECUTE AN AGREEMENT WITH THE COUNTY OF
LOS ANGELES FOR THE IMPROVEMENTS OF MONA BOULEVARD FROM SOUTH
CITY LIMITS TO THE NORTH CITY LIMITS AND APPROVING THE NECESSARY
FUNDING FOR THIS WORK
~ WHEREAS, that portion of Mona Boulevard in the City of Lynwood, between
Imperial Highway and the 1,200 feet south of Industry Way, is in need of pavement and
concrete work improvements ;and
WHEREAS, said work can be done through a formal construction contract
administered by the County of Los Angeles; and
WHEREAS, said work has been estimated to cost approximately $54,000 and
funds are available in the FY 2008-09 Budget from the Prop C Improvements, Project
No. 997.
NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of Lynwood does hereby find,
proclaim, order and resolve as follows:
Section 1. That the City Council authorizes the Mayor to execute an agreement
with the County of Los Angeles for an amount not to exceed $54,000 to have said
improvements done through the County of Los Angeles construction contract, as
approved to form by the City Attorney.
Section 2. That the cost of said improvements be paid with funds from the Prop
C Improvements, Project No. 997.
~ Section 3. This resolution shall take affect immediately upon its adoption.
' Section 4. The City Clerk shall certify as to the adoption of this Resolution.
