A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LYNWOOD APPROVING
THE WELL NO. 9 REHABILITATION PROJECT AND AUTHORIZING THE CITY
MANAGER OR DESIGNEE TO MAKE THE NECESSARY FUNDS APPROPRIATION
AND TRANSFER
WHEREAS, Well No.9 was first constructed in 1947 and is one of the better well
~, of the City's Water System; and
i WHEREAS, due to its long service life the well's sand separator/surge tank has
developed leaks and needs to be replaced; and
WHEREAS, the design and construction cost for this replacement is estimated at
$150,000; and
WHEREAS, the City Council desires to keep said well in optimal condition to
ensure its continuous operation.
NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of Lynwood does hereby find,
proclaim, order and resolve as follows:
Section 1. That the Lynwood City Council approves the Well No.9
Rehabilitation Project.
Section 2. That the City Manager or designee is authorized to make the
following funds appropriation and transfer:

' Section 3. That this resolution shall take effect immediately upon its adoption.
Section 4. The City Clerk shall certify as to the adoption of this Resolution.
PASSED, APPROVED and ADOPTED this 16th day of December, 2008.
