A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LYNWOOD
ACCEPTING AN IRREVOCABLE OFFER OF DEDICATION FOR STREET
PURPOSES AT 3333 JOSEPHINE STREET
WHEREAS, the conditions of approval for the development of a detached
two story residence, with an attached 4-car garage at 3333 Josephine Street (SPR
F'^ Case 2007-27) requires an irrevocable easement offer of dedication fora (5) feet
~ wide strip along Josephine Street (see attachment "A").
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Lynwood has determined that
said easement is necessary for the convenience, welfare, and safety of the public;
and
WHEREAS, it has been determined that the best interest of the City shall be
served by accepting said easement; and
WHEREAS, said easement has been analyzed and approved by the City
Engineer.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF LYNWOOD AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. That the City Council accepts the irrevocable easement offer of
dedication for street purposes from Ms. Teresa Montes Zamora as described below:
The southerly five (5) feet of the westerly fifty (50) feet of Lot 667 of Tract No. 2992,
in the City of Lynwood, in the County of Los Angeles, State of California, as shown
on Map recorded in Map Book 30, page 78 of maps, in the office of the Los Angeles
~ County Recorder. Assessor's No. 6171-023-038. Commonly Known as 3333
~ Josephine Street, Lynwood, CA 90262
Section 2. This resolution shall take effect immediately upon its adoption.
Section 3. The City Clerk shall certify as to the adoption of this
Resolution.
PASSED, APPROVED and ADOPTED this 16`h day of December, 2008.
