The following members answered present at roll call:-Anderson,Ehn, olander,Mclntyre,McCain & Newman. The minutes of the regular meeting of Feb.3 were read and approved as read. The question of installing a switch for the fire siren at the m elle. office was discussed and was left over till a later date. err. Cordill local agent of the U.P.R.R.was present and stated the Company asked the Town to raise the rate of speed of the trains passing through Ault.The rate was to be 4C miles for Lassen=Ter Trains and 25 miles Per hour for the Treights. The company offered to ray the cost of publishing of the ordinance.It was decided to leave this matter to Atty.Kelly. The The resolution,'aking an agreement for the speed of autos on the Highway was chan-ed so that it reads: -The speed of cars crossing 1st street shall not be more than 20 miles Per hours and elsewhere within the town limits shall not be over 25 miles rer hour,and forbid parking on the hi,)-hway between let street and 3rd. street and between 1st street and B street and making stop streets of all streets opening onto the highway. This resolution was approved by Atty. Kelly. in his letter of Feb. ?5 1931. The clerk was instructed to collect for all cemetery lots or t turn the matter over to the County Commissioners, Tt was suggested that sore fertili?er be put on the Torn Park but as the g ;ras had done so well, it was decided it was not needed. A11 voted aye. McCain ?noved,Ehn seconded: -To adiourn.Motion carried. Clerk Regular Meeting April 7 1931 Mayor The meetine was called to order by Mayor Hasbrouck at 7:45 PM. The members present were:tl-And.ereon,Molander,McIntyre,McCairn and Newman.Absent Ehn. The minutes of the last regular meeting of March 3 were read and approved as read. The proposed ordinance regulating the speed of r,aseenrer trains and motor cars at the rate of 40 miles and freights at 25 miles per hours,had its first reading.McCain moved,Mclntvre seconded: -To pass the proposed ordinance on its first readingand order it published in the Ault Booster. A11 .present voted ave. There was some disscuesion about dynamitingthe cement in the cellar and old scales at the Nort'rern Implement Co. building, so that the ground might be leveled.It was decided that there should not he any dyiha.iting so close to the other buildings. Newman moved,McCain seconded: -To dibsi=nate May let as Clean-up day and that all trash should be ready for hauling at that time and also that all chickens should be penned up to prevent damage to gardens. All present voted aye. McCain moved,Newman seconded: -To have the clerk receive bids for hauling the trash on Clean-up days (It was decided that there should be not'ing but tight beds used in hauling the trash) .
