A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
LYNWOOD DECLARING ITS INTEN'PION TO VACATE AND
ABANDON FOR PUBLIC PURPOSES THAT PORTION OF THE
FIRST ALLEY NORTH OF IMPERIAL HIGHWAY BETWEEN
A1.,ERANDER AVENUE AND FRACAR AVENUE, CITY OF LYNWOOD
AS SHOWN ON MAP OF TRACT N0. 12197, IN THE CITY OF
hYNWOUD, COUNTY OF LOS ANGELES, MAP BOUK `L 27,
PAGES 37 THROUGH 38 OF MAPS IN THE OFFICE OF THE LOS
ANGELES COUNTY RECORDER.
The City Council of the City of Lynwood, Cal.iforni.a,
hereby resolves and. ordains as follows:
5ect;ion 1: That portion of first alley North of
Imperial Highway, between Alexander Avenue and Fracar Avenue as shotian
on map of Tract No. 12197, in the Cit3• of Lynwood, in the County of
Los Angeles, State of California, Map Book 'L'L7, Pages 37 through
38 of maps in the Oi:'f.'ice of the Los Angeles County Recorder.
Said alley located within the corporate limits of the City
of Lynwood, :is unnecessary for present or prospective public
purposes and that the public interest, necessity and convenience
require, and the City Council of said City hereby declares i.ts
intention to vacate and abandon that portion of said alley.
Section 'L_: That said portion of al:l.ey, as above
described., being i.n the City of Lynwood, is shown on the officia.i.
map of the Cii;,y of Lynwood, at the office of the City C:Lerk of
said City, to which all panties interested. a.re referred. for
particulars as to the proposed vacation and. abandonment.
Section 3: That the City Council elects to proceed in
said vacation and. abandonment under Section 8300 to 8324,
inclusive, of the Streets and Highways Code of.' the State of
Cal.iforni.a, as ameruled.
Section 4: The City Council of the Ci.t,y of Lynwood
does hereby determine that the public convenience and necessity
require ghat an easement be retained for construction and
maintenance of ut.i.li.ty lines within. the limits of the alley
vacation as described. in Section 1.
Section 5: That the City Council. of the City of
Lynwood is hereby determines that the public convenience and.
necess:Lty require that a fire Lane be maintained, for fire and
emergency vehicle access, w}thin the limits of the alley
vacation as described. in Section l..
Section 6: That the City Clerk of the City of
Lynwood is hereby directed. to give and post, as required. b,y
law, notice of the passage of this Resolution of Intention, and
give there:i.n the .Legal. description of said alley proposed. to be
vacated anal abandoned, and specify the time and place of hear:i.ng
of this Resolution of Intention, which is hereby fixed. as follows:

City of Lynwood, at 17.330 Bullis Road, in the
City Council. Chambers oY the City Hall. of said
City of Lynwood, at the hour of 7:30 p.m. on ifarch
15, 1.988, at which time and. place a.ll persons
.interested may appear and object ox• protest to
the proposed vacation and. abandonment of said.

evidence submitted that the alley is unnecessary
for present or prospective use, it may make i,s
